How Will This Help
My Child?
This program is designed to support your child’s emotional and sensory regulation both at home and in school by providing a consistent care framework.
At Home
Parents and caregivers can use the strategies during moments of dysregulation to help your child feel calm and safe.
At School
Teachers or learning support assistants can apply these same techniques during dysregulation incidents, ensuring continuity of care. We also encourage sharing this program and its tools with your child’s teaching staff to maximize effectiveness.
Additionally, some strategies in this program will complement the techniques used during school visits with your child’s occupational therapist.

Managing Dysregulation in School Settings
If your child’s dysregulation tends to happen at school, we recommend bringing the sensory equipment included in the program to school so they can use it in that environment as well. Consistency is key across all settings, and this ensures that your child has the same tools wherever they are.

Sensory Nation provide chronological age ranges for you to consider when deciding if the program will be suitable for your child's unique therapy needs.
Sensory Nation programs come with a self assessment progress tracker which can be used to help discuss progress with your child's educator and/or health professional.
Our Individual Therapy packages include a quarterly Progress Report.We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind or user error when ordering. If an item is delivered damaged then we ask for a photo of the damaged item and a description within 14 days of receiving the goods. This information should be sent to info@sensorynation.com.au.
